OvaPRE – Ovarian Platelet-Rich Exosome

OvaPRE: The Next Generation of Ovarian Rejuvenation

Combining the power of exosomes and PRP for fertility renewal

For women navigating diminished ovarian reserve, premature ovarian insufficiency, or the fertility challenges that come with age, science is opening new doors. OvaPRE brings together two of regenerative medicine’s most exciting innovations — exosomes and autologous platelet-rich plasma (A-PRP) — into a single, synergistic therapy designed to support and potentially restore ovarian function.

This is fertility care reimagined: cell-free, biologically intelligent, and tailored to women who want to explore every possibility before turning to donor options.

What is OvaPRE?

OvaPRE is an advanced regenerative therapy that delivers a combination of exosomes and A-PRP directly into the ovaries.

Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles released by cells to communicate with one another. They are packed with proteins, lipids, RNA, and microRNA — bioactive cargo that signals tissues to repair, regenerate, and recover. Because exosomes work without transplanting cells themselves, they offer a cell-free regenerative approach that is gaining attention across multiple medical fields.

A-PRP is prepared from your own blood and is rich in platelets, growth factors, and cytokines that promote healing.

When combined, the two work synergistically: exosomes deliver regenerative signals at the cellular level, while PRP amplifies the healing environment, activates local stem cells, and enhances the ovary’s responsiveness to those signals.

The goals of OvaPRE therapy

OvaPRE is designed to:

  • Improve the function of existing ovarian follicles
  • Stimulate dormant follicles that may still hold potential
  • Enhance the hormonal environment within the ovaries
  • Improve egg quality — and possibly support the return of natural fertility

Who may benefit from OvaPRE?

OvaPRE is designed to support women across a range of fertility concerns — and because it can be delivered as a combined exosome + A-PRP therapy or as exosome therapy alone, your treatment can be tailored to what your body needs most.

You may benefit from the combined exosome + A-PRP approach if you are experiencing:

  • Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) or ovarian aging
  • Poor response to previous ART or IVF cycles
  • Recurrent IVF failure
  • A desire to improve egg and embryo quality before assisted reproductive treatment
  • Perimenopausal symptoms with declining ovarian function

The combination is particularly well suited to women who would benefit from both regenerative cellular signalling and the growth-factor boost that PRP provides.

Exosome therapy on its own may be the right choice if you have:

  • Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) where a gentler, cell-signalling–focused approach is preferred
  • A low platelet count or blood profile that makes PRP less suitable
  • Clotting concerns or other medical considerations that contraindicate PRP
  • A preference for a single-agent regenerative approach as advised by your specialist

Used independently, exosomes still deliver meaningful anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, and regenerative benefits — making them a valuable option in their own right.

Your fertility specialist will guide the decision, recommending the pathway — combined or exosome-only — that best fits your reproductive history, ovarian profile, and overall health.

How the OvaPRE procedure works

  1. Comprehensive baseline evaluation
Before treatment, our team conducts a full assessment including medical history review, antral follicle count (AFC), hormonal blood tests (FSH, LH, E2, AMH), and selected tumour marker tests to ensure your suitability and safety.
  2. A-PRP preparation
Approximately 10–20 mL of your blood is drawn and processed in a specialised centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and activate their growth factors.
  3. Intraovarian administration
The combined exosome and A-PRP preparation is injected directly into each ovary under transvaginal ultrasound guidance — the same gentle technique used in IVF egg retrieval. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia for your comfort.
  4. Post-treatment monitoring
Follow-up hormonal blood tests (FSH, LH, E2, AMH) will be required to track your ovarian response and guide next steps in your fertility journey.

Why the exosome + PRP combination — and when exosomes alone may be enough

Exosomes and PRP each carry distinct regenerative strengths. Depending on your individual fertility profile, they may be used together for a synergistic effect, or exosomes may be administered on their own as a standalone therapy.

When the combination is used, exosomes deliver regenerative signals at the cellular level while PRP amplifies the healing environment, activates local stem cells, and enhances the ovary’s responsiveness to those signals.

When exosomes are used independently, they can still offer meaningful anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, and regenerative benefits on their own. This standalone approach may be more suitable for women whose fertility concerns, medical history, or blood profile make PRP less appropriate — for example, those with low platelet counts or specific clotting considerations.

Your fertility specialist will recommend the approach best matched to your unique reproductive needs — whether that’s the combined OvaPRE therapy or exosome therapy alone — ensuring your treatment plan is personalised, purposeful, and aligned with your goals.

Safety, transparency, and informed care

OvaPRE is an experimental therapy, several important points must be understood:

  • Long-term safety and efficacy are still being studied.
  • Not all patients will respond — there is no guarantee of improved hormone levels, ovulation, menstrual cycle resumption, or pregnancy.
  • Exosomes may carry potential risks such as immune response, off-target effects, or, theoretically, influences on hormone-sensitive tissues. These risks are considered low but cannot be fully ruled out.
  • Effects on future pregnancy and fetal development have not been fully characterised.
  • As with any intraovarian procedure, there are risks including bleeding, infection, ovarian or vaginal discomfort, and risks associated with anaesthesia.

Our fertility specialists will walk you through every consideration during your consultation, so you can make a fully informed decision.

A new possibility, grounded in science

For many women, OvaPRE represents an opportunity to explore what their own biology may still be capable of — supported by one of the most promising frontiers in regenerative medicine.

It is not a guarantee. It is, however, a carefully delivered, evidence-informed option performed by experienced fertility specialists in a centre committed to quality, ethics, and your wellbeing — for those who want to leave no door unopened on the path to parenthood.
